To make my favorite vanilla buttercream frosting, all you need to do is mix two sticks of softened butter with three cups of powdered sugar in a mixer. The difference in the frosting is simply this: I used almost 2 cups of powdered sugar, the addition of 2 tablespoons of soft cream cheese to the 2 table spoons.
